Concussion Safety (Rowan’s Law)
Ontario’s Rowan’s Law asks every player, every parent of a player under 18, and every coach to review concussion awareness resources each season. Please read the Government of Ontario’s Rowan’s Law resources before the first practice. We’ll ask you to confirm you’ve reviewed them when you register.
For Parents
- Respect in Sport: an online program about supporting young athletes and recognizing bullying, abuse and harassment.
- Help with costs: Canadian Tire Jumpstart and KidSport Ontario offer grants toward registration fees.
For Coaches
- Coach.ca: National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) courses.
